Dude...

I can't be the only one who reads the movie title Lesbian Vampire Killers and expects (at least) a pair of badass lesbian lovers who travel around the world killing vampires...right? I am rather disappointed that this movie is apparently about two guys who kill a group of lesbian vampires to 'save' the women of a cursed town and return them to a heterosexual lifestyle.

Goddammit, I want Lesbian Vampire-Killers. Not Lesbian-Vampire Killers. (See what I did there, with the hyphen, movie makers? Look at how that humble typographical mark clarifies and changes your concept based on placement! Amazing!!)

C'mon now, everyone knows that it's all the way the material is handled.

I almost always prefer literary lycanthropes to movie werewolves. I like the Lost Souls vampires from Poppy Z. Brite, but hate the Anne Rice vampires. I love the vampires from Blade, but am ambivalent about the ones in From Dusk Til Dawn.

And anyone who reads my LiveJournal regularly knows about my obsession/love of zombies and zombie movies. ^_^

EDIT: OMG, I can't believe I forgot the ONE lycanthrope movie that I actually adore...Ginger Snaps! Brilliant film. Fond memories of watching it with Katie.
