I keep thinking that I'm going to see my Tech Support friends again today. And then I remember, I'm in Texas and they aren't (except for Lane and Dick) and I get all sad. While I did miss Dick and am happy to be home, I know my mood's gonna tank. So I'm trying to stave it off by plotting out the Beta Flight fanart (my crap drawing skills are not gonna stop me from trying) and designing an official(ish) "Darc Angels" logo.
Also. Dudes. We -- at least Ted and I -- agreed at Ultima 1 that Ted's fangirls have to be "Blue Streak's Deputies", not "Blue's Streakers". Calling them the Streakers was not my fault. Or maybe it was, but if I started it, it was as a joke. *hugs*
Honestly, though, I can't wait to get a new job and save up to move out of this hellhole (the apartment). I came home to the power being out in the living room and dining room. The kitchen was okay except for the overhead light. But really. Come on.
And some of those who were at Ultima 2 will recall that I told the story about our laundry facilities. There are several apartments in a single building, and we also have a small outbuilding that houses one washer and one dryer. This can be hell to coordinate usage of, especially on the weekends. For about a week or two before Ultima 2, the landlord changed the lock on the outbuilding and did not give any of us the key. Instead, the liaison who lives onsite was supposed to unlock the laundry area from 12 pm to 9 pm for us to use. Several times, Dick and I prepared to do laundry only to find the outbuilding still locked... even though it was during the hours it was supposed to be available.
Today, they finally gave us the new key. Rrrgh.
Anyway. Going to see what I can come up with... Amber, I don't want to step on any toes, so when I share the designs -- if I share the designs -- you can totally host them at the official CafePress if you want.
