Punching Bag [DCU, Tim/Kon]

To be clear, I don't care if you ship something I don't ship. (In this case, Tim/Kon.) I don't care if you write/read/draw subjects like abuse -- or incest, rape, or torture. It's all fictional, and as long as it stays that way, we're cool.
I couldn't avoid the picture that spawned this fic, because: it was on Tumblr, I track the "Superboy" tag, and Tumblr Savior refuses to work for me. And it bothered me to see this was something that people thought was cute or funny... because all I could see was the behavior that read "abusive" to me. So I just wanted to put a different spin on things.

Title: Punching Bag
Author: D.L.SchizoAuthoress
Rating: PG, but mind the warning
Spoilers: None
Warnings: Tim/Kon with abusive behavior by significant other
Word Count: 172
Summary: It doesn't "hurt" him, but Kon is bothered anyway.
Note: Prompted by this sketch comic by ItoMaki-chan. It's part of a trend in fandom I don't agree with, but no disrespect to ItoMaki is meant with this ficlet. In a way I'm grateful that this inspired a fic.
Punching Bag
It started out with little things. Harmless things. Kon's not exactly sure when it started to bother him. But it used to be flinging a communicator that refused to be fixed and just not watching out if Kon was in the way... and now it was purposely throwing punches to vent frustration.
It doesn't ever hurt him... hell, half the time he has to make his TTK aura extra cushiony so Tim doesn't break his wrist.
He keeps an ear out for Gotham a lot these days -- you know, making sure that the boyfriend doesn't need a superpowered save (and Tim rarely ever does). He's not sure when he started cringing on the days he knows Tim has had "a bad one".
But sometimes, with Tim cradled against his chest and wrinkling big handfuls of his t-shirt in tightly clenched fists, Kon wonders whether he's a boyfriend or a punching bag. And some traitorous voice in his brain whispers an awful what-if: "Would he still do this if you weren't superpowered?"
