Despite my hatred of X-mas (commercialized Christmas), I've spent nearly $600 total on gifts...granted, it's spread out over 13 people, but I still have one more kid to buy for. And besides, my journal color theme is red and green (X-mas coloring!) on black. I think I need to change my border colors.

Christmas isn't about presents, lights, and Santa. X-mas is about those things.

Christmas is about family, friends, generosity, and Jesus.

You know, I agree. Me, I'm not a terribly religious person. But I gotta say that I think Jesus would be a bit sad to see how his birthday has become a shop-o-rama where people compete to spend the most money on outlandish gifts.
