Kimee Balmilero is an accomplished television actress, as well as a sketch comedienne. She is Filipino-American and originally born in Hawaii.

Because Tana Moon's skin tone in the beginning matches that of Sam Makoa (a man who is canonically full-blooded Hawaiian), I assumed she was Hawaiian as well. On panel, she states that she is "part-Hawaiian" but does not elaborate on the rest.

Apparently, there is a lettercol where she is stated to be half-black, half-Hawaiian. (I haven't seen it.) But if you want a faceclaim who looks a lot like Tana and is part black, there is Chyna Layne. <3
