This is only my second LJ-based ficathon. I'm excited, giddy, nervous, and estatically terrified. Oh, escritoireazul, why do you have to make everything look so good? ^_^ I'm just kidding, hun; really I am grateful that you pointed this ficathon out to me. Femmeslash, yay!

Dear Writer,

First off, thanks so much for writing me a story! *squee* I can't wait to read it. Oh, and so you know, I listed my pairings in order...first listed is the one I'd like most from that fandom, but I do love all the pairings I asked for.

Secondly, I thought up some stuff that might help you write for me. I like plotty goodness, but well-written PWP can hit my buttons just right, too. If you're not sure whether to take a story to darker subjects or keep it light, here's a quick guide: Buffyverse, Soul Calibur, and Firefly -- go as dark as the story demands it to be. JEM fandom -- I'd prefer it not to be too extreme. Babysitters Club -- light and fluffy; Stoneybrook is the one place of my childhood that I like to keep relatively pristine.

Things I like to read about: the courtship dance (aka the beginning of the relationship), one partner helps another with a problem, love scenes (anything from kissing to sex), fighters battling it out (as is fandom appropriate -- Soul Calibur, Buffyverse, Firefly), character-appropriate kink, backstage antics, coming out to the parents, best friends become lovers.

Things I dislike: rape/noncon/dubcon, someone canonly sweet and submissive being "OMG secret dominatrix!" (aka character-inappropriate kink), dragging out the angst interminably/for no good reason, and I don't like excessive hurt/comfort.

But really, I read just about anything that's well-written and has good internal logic. ^_^ My English-teacher Granma taught me well.
