Okay, so this has been going around my friends list for a day or two, and y'all know I can't resist an opportunity to blather on about fandom. So....

Name a character/pairing and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudo-canon.


For the sake of us all, please submit it as "character/character, from fandom" or "character from fandom". I have so many fandoms it's like, scary, and only mildly funny at this point.

How about...Jetta!

1. Sheila Burns has been using the alias "Jetta" since 1971, and when the Volkswagen car came out in 1980, she was furious. She vandalised every VW Jetta she came across for three months.

2. When Jetta was growing up, she truly believed that one day, she would join Sly and the Family Stone. In fact, she had a crush on Jerry Martini.

3. Jetta used to go out with the drummer of the Tinkerbillies, but she got tired of being stood up when his buddies would take him to go drinking, so she broke up with him and destroyed his drumkit. Things were never the same with the band after that, which is why she was so eager to find a new group to glom onto.

I used to speculate that the Tinkerbillies were all gay men (except, of course, Jetta). Perhaps I thought that because the group's name sounded like a derogatory name for gay men. I dunno.

Hahaha, okay.

1. Even though they fight, like, daily, deep down they really love each other a lot.

2. Somehow, even though they want no children, children really like them and they'll probably end up with a bunch of kids to care for.

3. Barring that, Shimi will have to get used to having a pack of dogs running around the house, because Dani loves dogs.
