...Seriously, guys, I checked YouTube and I couldn't find any other Gambit+Ace of Spades videos. Except for an incredibly stupid slide-show/exercise in blatant fangirlism. I couldn't let that be the only example of this most perfect marriage of song and subject matter on the Internet. I just couldn't.

Anyway, yeah. I know at least one person on my friends list will appreciate this. And I love it.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] captain_slinky for pointing me in the direction of FineTune.Com, a site that allows you to make 45-song playlists for free. This is the one that I made last night, wandering the site somewhat aimlessly, so it's not exactly cohesive. Enjoy!

(And if you want to create your own and share it on your journal, I quote Brian: "Okay, you go in to your profile and click on the playlist that you created. It'll bring up an editable list of all the songs on that playlist, and on the right-hand side one of the links is "Embed Playlist". Click there and you get the code!" Copy-paste, and it will show up in your entry.)

"List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Explain why you like these songs so much.

Post these instructions in your Live Journal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to."

-----------

Because I am a nerd, I am including YouTube links if the songs have them.

1) Paula Abdul, Straight Up -- This song is just so damn catchy. It gets stuck in my head so often.

2) Fuel, Hemorrhage (In My Hands) -- It's one of my favorite tracks on 'Buzz Ballads', which I bought last week. I fall asleep listening to that CD a lot. Also, I was toying with using it in a fanfic quite a bit.

3) Third Eye Blind, Jumper -- Okay, so how many times did this get played on the radio before radio got stupid? Plenty. Also, given my recent moods, I take comfort in some of these lyrics.

4) Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine, Rhythm is Gonna Get You -- YouTube is a bitch and removed this video, even though I had it before...anyway, it's probably her best song, such a driving, primal beat, and I love to dance to it.

5) Bon Jovi, Living on a Prayer -- For some reason, part of me thinks this song is about Adam and me, but in a non-depressing way.

6) Trace Adkins, Every Light in the House -- Unfortunately, the only entry on YouTube is a Fullmetal Alchemist AMV, but I suppose that means they might not delete it. To my point...I wrote an entry about this song a few days back. The idea is that my "light" is on for Adam to think of until he gets back from his business.

7) Nirvana, You Know You're Right -- I will always love this song. Just like I will always love this band, no matter how many other artists I end up liking.
